BBNaija All Stars winner Ilebaye Odiniyaβs father has now shared his own side of the ongoing family controversy.
According to him:β’
He claimed he supported Ilebaye during her BBNaija journey, especially during her second appearance when she was frequently up for eviction.β’
He said after she won the show, she became distant and stopped communicating with him regularly.β’
He revealed he had tried several times to reconnect with her and hoped they would appreciate the people who supported her journey together.β’
He also stated that he advised her to help the less privileged with some of her winnings, but she refused.β’
He claimed the hotel Ilebaye allegedly posts online as hers actually belongs to him, adding that he has been worried about the lifestyle she now lives.β’
He expressed disappointment over her alleged cosmetic procedures, including fillers and BBL, saying he believes she is too young for that.β’
He accused Ilebaye of being physically aggressive towards him on different occasions and said the viral incident happened after he was provoked while trying to discipline her.β’
He also spoke about his health challenges, saying he once reached out to her for financial assistance during a medical trip but she allegedly told him she had no money.β’
He further accused Ilebaye of allegedly introducing his 14-year-old son to drugs. β’
On the family issues involving Ilebayeβs mother, he claimed there have been long-standing marital problems within the family.β’
He ended by pleading with Nigerians to forgive both him and Ilebaye, saying they would prefer to settle their family issues privately. He also confirmed that the police have invited him again following the incident.
